How it works
The Equipment table describes engines as increasing boat speed. Jet Drive Engine occupies a 1x1 footprint and one slot, and its listed speed is 9 knots. It is listed at the Shipwright or Travelling Merchant for $400, with five research parts. The passage gives no other engine effect or handling detail.
Read the supporting references
A source-bounded reference to selected named rods, engines, lights, and trawl nets. Records include listed functions, slot footprints, performance values, and some research or acquisition details. Pale Reach and The Iron Rig items are labeled. The Equipment and Items pages say they are under construction, so coverage may be incomplete. Guidance explains the referenced mechanics; it is not a tested damage ranking. Check the stated edition and source version before applying a patch-specific detail.
