Expert Sphere Grid
Expert lets characters choose routes from the grid’s middle, while offering fewer total nodes than Standard.
How it works
The overview says the optional Expert grid is included in International and PAL versions. All characters start in the middle and may follow whichever path they choose. It states that Expert has fewer total nodes, reducing the total statistic upgrades available during the game. The guide also lists Expert as an option in the international version.
