Anemo catalyst character whose burst follows the active character and whose converted hammer hits can grant nearby teammates a short damage bonus. Consider Prune when you can trigger Swirl or Stellar Swirl to convert her hammer and activate her support effect.
Released May 20, 2026
Prune combines Anemo attacks with a conditional elemental conversion. Her skill can change into a converted hammer strike after she triggers Swirl or Stellar Swirl with it. Her burst summons a bell that follows the active character, and its Swirl reactions can create additional converted hammer hits. Those hits enable a five-second party damage bonus based on Prune's ATK.

Prune GUIDE
Understand Prune
Useful when…
Trigger Swirl or Stellar Swirl with her skill to access its converted follow-up strike.
Keep the burst's following bell active while switching among characters, especially where its Swirl hits can trigger her additional hammer damage.
Build ATK when using Tolling Rally, since its bonus scales from ATK above 2,000.
Skill conversion and hammer damage
Ring-A-Ding-Ding! Hexhunter Chime strikes with the Witchlure Bell for Anemo damage. If this attack triggers Swirl or Stellar Swirl in an opponent, the skill changes for six seconds to Clang Clang! Witch-tribution Comes! On use, the hammer takes on the element involved in that earlier reaction, and Prune kicks it to deal that elemental damage to opponents in front. This is a conditional conversion, so the follow-up requires the triggering reaction first. The skill cooldown is 15 seconds.
Burst and party damage buff
The Bell Tolls! The Hunt Is On! deals Anemo damage and places the Witchlure Bell in Hunter-Seeker mode for 12 seconds. It follows the current active character, attacks nearby opponents at intervals, and its damage counts as Elemental Burst damage. When a bell hit triggers Swirl or Stellar Swirl, Verdict and Punishment summons a Banehunter Oathhammer hit against that opponent. Its damage is 150% of Prune's ATK and uses the elemental type from the reaction's conversion; it also counts as burst damage. When an elementally converted hammer hits, Tolling Synchronicity gives other nearby party members a five-second Rally effect. Their damaging normal, charged, or plunging attacks, skills, and bursts gain a bonus based on Prune's ATK above 2,000: each excess ATK point adds 0.025%, capped at 50%.
Investment and combat handling
The burst costs 70 Energy and has an 18-second cooldown; its following bell lasts 12 seconds. Consider burst levels if the bell's periodic damage is a key contribution, and skill levels for the initial and converted skill hits. Normal-attack levels are more relevant if Prune remains on field using her three Anemo strikes or charged hammer swing, which costs 50 Stamina. Ascension supports general character progression. Her crafting passive has a 10% chance to grant one regional Character Talent Material, excluding base materials, at the same rarity as the crafted result.
Limits and alternatives
The converted skill is not available unless the skill itself triggers Swirl or Stellar Swirl, and the Rally bonus begins only after a converted hammer hit. The bell follows the active character, so its attacks are centered around that character rather than fixed in place.
Limitations and tradeoffs
Her teammate damage buff requires both an elemental conversion and a converted hammer hit.
Burst damage and reaction-triggered hammer effects depend on enemies remaining near the bell's active-character target area.
Common mistakes to avoid
Using the follow-up skill without first triggering Swirl or Stellar Swirl with the skill.
Expecting Tolling Rally before an elementally converted hammer hits an opponent.
Treating the 50% buff cap as a flat bonus independent of Prune's ATK above 2,000.

Verdict and Punishment
During the Elemental Burst **The Bell Tolls! The Hunt Is On!**, after the Witchlure Bell in Hunter-Seeker mode deals DMG to an opponent, if this DMG triggers Swirl or Stellar Swirl in an opponent, it will also summon a **Banehunter Oathhammer** that will deal 150% of Prune's ATK as DMG to them, with the DMG Type matching the Elemental Conversion from the Swirl or Stellar Swirl. This DMG is considered Elemental Burst DMG.
Tolling Synchronicity
After Prune hits an opponent with the **Banehunter Oathhammer** that has undergone Elemental Conversion, other nearby party members will gain the Tolling Rally effect for 5s: When Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks, or Elemental Skills and Bursts deal DMG to opponents, that attack's DMG will be increased based on the portion of Prune's ATK in excess of 2,000 when they become affected by the Tolling Rally effect. Every excess ATK point increases that instance of DMG by 0.025%, up to a total of 50% max.
