Boiling Blood
Boiling Blood boosts Attack and Special damage against foes with a Bloodstone in them. Abyssal Blood instead reduces those foes’ movement speed and damage.
How it works
Boiling Blood’s primary description gives bonus Attack and Special damage against foes containing a Bloodstone, increasing by 10% per rank. Its alternate, Abyssal Blood, reduces affected foes’ move speed and damage by 6% per rank. The Mirror permits only one side at a time.
When it helps
Consider Boiling Blood if you want a damage bonus against Bloodstone-affected foes. Compare Abyssal Blood if reducing those foes’ speed and damage better supports your approach to encounters.
The tradeoff
Both sides depend on a foe having a Bloodstone in it. Boiling Blood improves your listed damage; Abyssal Blood affects the foe’s movement and damage instead.
Your next step
Compare both descriptions and check whether your Cast use can meet the shared Bloodstone condition.
