Understand The Great Cosmic Enterprise
Useful when…
- An Erudition wearer whose damage benefits from ATK.
- Combat against enemies with multiple different Weakness Types.
How is the Weakness bonus counted?
At S1, the Cone gives 8% ATK and increases damage dealt to a target by 4% for each different Weakness Type that target has, up to seven types. At S5, it gives 16% ATK and 8% damage per counted type. The count is target-specific: an enemy with fewer different Weakness Types gives a smaller damage increase than one with more, up to the stated cap.
When do other Erudition Light Cones differ?
A Dream Scented in Wheat grants CRIT Rate and boosts Ultimate and Follow-Up ATK damage. After the Charmony Fall grants Break Effect and gives Speed for two turns after Ultimate use. A Star That Lights the Night names Assist Skill use as the trigger for Energy and stacking effects, and includes an unconditional DEF-ignore value in its listed effect. These have different stat focuses and attack conditions; they are candidates to compare against a specific wearer and target situation.
What is worth upgrading?
Promotion advances the Cone through six stages. Superimposition increases its ATK and per-Weakness damage values; each listed step requires one Physical Game Cartridge. Promotion addresses level progression. Consider superimposition when the enemies you face often have several distinct Weakness Types and the stronger conditional damage is useful.
What limits its value?
The damage increase depends on each enemy’s different Weakness Types and caps at seven counted types. Do not assume a fixed full bonus against every target, or count repeated instances of the same Weakness Type as different types.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The damage bonus varies with the target’s number of different Weakness Types.
- The effect counts at most seven types.
- Superimposition consumes duplicate materials.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming every target grants the maximum bonus.
- Counting repeated Weakness Types more than once.
- Confusing this Cone’s target-specific Weakness count with the wearer’s own attack types.
