Understand Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder
Useful when…
- Supporting allies when the wearer or memosprite heals another ally.
- Adding wearer SPD through the two-piece bonus and the active four-piece effect.
What activates Gentle Rain?
The wearer or their memosprite must provide healing to an ally target other than the wearer. This grants the wearer Gentle Rain for 2 turns, and it can trigger only once per turn. While Gentle Rain is active, wearer SPD increases by 6% and all allies' CRIT DMG increases by 15%. The effect cannot stack.
Who should consider it?
The set suits a wearer or memosprite that can heal another ally, since that action activates both the wearer's extra SPD and the team CRIT DMG benefit. The two-piece 6% SPD bonus remains separate from that healing condition. Divine-Querying Master Smith instead grants a team damage increase after the wearer inflicts DEF reduction; it depends on a different action and supports damage through a different effect.
What limits the bonus?
Healing the wearer alone does not meet the stated requirement to heal an ally other than the wearer. Gentle Rain lasts 2 turns, can trigger only once per turn, and cannot stack. Do not treat the 15% CRIT DMG as a permanent team bonus without the active effect.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The four-piece effect requires healing an ally other than the wearer.
- Gentle Rain lasts 2 turns, triggers at most once per turn, and cannot stack.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting the four-piece effect from healing only the wearer.
- Assuming Gentle Rain stacks or triggers multiple times in one turn.
