Understand Trailblazer (Destruction · Stelle)

How do the attacks work?
The Basic ATK hits one designated enemy; RIP Home Run hits the chosen target and adjacent enemies. Stardust Ace offers two distinct Ultimate modes: Blowout: Farewell Hit attacks one target, while Blowout: RIP Home Run attacks one target and adjacent enemies. Perfect Pickoff raises ATK by 10% when this Trailblazer inflicts Weakness Break, up to two stacks. Select the Ultimate mode based on the target layout; the single-target option does not include adjacent hits.
What does the Technique add?
Immortal Third Strike heals all allies by 15% of their respective Max HP after use. This is a Technique effect, separate from the in-combat Basic ATK, Skill, and Ultimate. Attacks reduce Toughness of the corresponding Physical Type, and a Weakness Break can activate the Talent’s ATK increase. Repeated breaks can raise it only to two stacks.
What should you invest in?
The Skill, Ultimate, and Talent levels align with the blast attacks, Ultimate choice, and Weakness Break condition. ATK traces support the attack scaling, while HP and DEF traces are available for defensive stats. Promotion is its own progression track. If you use Basic ATK infrequently, it is a lower priority than the attacks and Talent that define this form’s damage pattern.
What common assumptions should you avoid?
Do not assume the Ultimate automatically uses both modes; it asks you to choose one. Do not expect Perfect Pickoff to stack past two or to trigger without a Weakness Break. The Technique’s stated effect is an immediate team heal after use, not an ongoing heal during combat.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Damage improvement from Perfect Pickoff depends on breaking Weakness and has a two-stack limit.
- Choosing single-target damage gives up the blast mode’s adjacent hits.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the two Ultimate modes as simultaneous hits.
- Assuming any hit grants Perfect Pickoff stacks.
- Confusing the pre-battle Technique heal with an in-battle healing action.
