How it works
The workshop passage says Assembly Station upgrades let it pull materials directly from nearby storage chests, reducing manual labor for complex builds. It also says Level 2 and Level 3 stations are physically larger and support more complex blueprints. Upgrade costs and a complete blueprint list are not supplied.
