MAM research and trees
The MAM provides research-tree unlocks outside milestone progression, initiated by discovering items and completed using required items held in inventory.
How it works
The MAM becomes available through the Tier 1 Field Research milestone. Picking up a researchable item can prompt ADA to suggest research. Trees begin with specific item discoveries, and research unlocks nodes below the researched node. Trees are independent of each other and HUB milestones, though some ingredients are milestone-locked. Required items must be in the player’s inventory, not only in the Dimensional Depot.
