IGN lists Lunging Strike as a 1 Skill Point skill with no prerequisite. Its described input is to hold Special Attack to perform a long-reaching thrust attack. It is also the prerequisite for several Single-Bladed skills listed in the same tree, including Twofold Reflection, Improved Footwork, Cyclone Slash, and Aerial Assault.
