Weapon MK upgrades
A Gun Smith can raise an owned weapon to its next MK level when you have the required components. Each level increases that weapon's damage, and its upgrade level persists across duplicates of the same weapon.
How it works
The supplied crafting window lists basic components for early levels, advanced components for later levels, and superior components for higher levels. Upgrades apply to the weapon type, so acquiring another copy retains its remembered MK level.
When it helps
Upgrade a weapon you expect to keep using; the raised damage carries to duplicates.
