Understand Adept Surge
Useful when…
- Conclave loadouts that value the listed Mobility bonus over the lost Health.
- Comparing movement-oriented Exilus options that trade off a defensive stat.
Effect and rank values
At rank 0, Adept Surge gives +2.5% Mobility and -6.2 Health. At rank 2, it gives +7.5% Mobility and -18.7 Health; rank 3 reaches +10% Mobility and -25 Health. The benefit and cost rise together.
Variant, slot, and exclusions
This is a Conclave Warframe mod with Naramon polarity, base drain 2, and Exilus slot placement. It is incompatible with Air Thrusters, Calculated Spring, Rising Skill, and Tempered Bound, so it cannot be equipped alongside those named mods. Its Conclave variant should not be confused with standard Warframe mods.
Rank costs and tradeoff
The three rank-ups cost 20, 40, and 80 Endo and 966, 1,932, and 3,864 credits. Rank 3 gives the full +10% Mobility but also the full -25 Health. Because the health penalty scales with rank, choose a rank based on whether the additional movement value justifies the corresponding loss.
Movement and Health alternatives
Air Thrusters increases airborne Slide Boost by 100% while reducing Mobility by 20%. Calculated Spring instead reduces Mobility by 10% and adds 25% Health; Rising Skill adds 10% Mobility while reducing Shield Capacity by 30. These Conclave comparisons have distinct costs and effects; Adept Surge specifically exchanges Health for Mobility.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Mobility comes with a direct Health reduction.
- It is a Conclave Exilus mod with named incompatible mods.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Overlooking the -25 Health penalty at maximum rank.
- Trying to equip it alongside one of its four named incompatible mods.
