Understand Agility Drift
Useful when…
- Reduce incoming damage while airborne.
- Lower enemy accuracy when they target the Warframe.
Effects and conditions
At rank 0, Agility Drift reduces damage by 2% while airborne and lowers enemy accuracy by 1% when targeting the Warframe. At rank 5 those effects reach 12% and 6%. It is a Warframe Exilus mod with Vazarin polarity and base drain 4. Only the damage reduction is explicitly conditional on being airborne; the accuracy reduction is described as applying when enemies target the Warframe.
Practical use and alternatives
Consider Agility Drift when your movement keeps you airborne and you want the paired defensive effects. Aviator is a simpler airborne damage-reduction option, listed at 40% reduction. Air Thrusters is a Conclave mod that increases slide boost while airborne but also reduces mobility; Flawed Reflection is a Flawed mod tied to blocking while channeling. These are different conditions and variants, not direct equivalents to Agility Drift’s accuracy effect.
Rank investment
The mod has five ranks. The listed costs for example steps are 30 Endo and 1,449 credits from rank 0 to 1, 120 Endo and 5,796 credits from rank 2 to 3, and 480 Endo and 23,184 credits from rank 4 to 5. Ranking raises both defensive effects, so prioritize it if you rely on airborne play; otherwise, the rank investment may be less useful than an Exilus effect that supports your normal movement.
Limitations
The damage reduction explicitly requires being airborne, and the listed reduction is 12% at rank 5. Do not expect it to match Aviator’s larger stated airborne reduction, or confuse it with Air Thrusters’ mobility effect.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Damage reduction is conditional on being airborne.
- Uses a Warframe Exilus slot for modest defensive effects rather than movement or ability utility.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Applying the airborne damage reduction while grounded.
- Assuming its 12% damage reduction is the same as Aviator’s listed 40%.
