Effects and equipment
At rank 0, it grants +15% Melee Damage and +5% Slash; at rank 3, +60% and +20%; at rank 5, +90% and +30%. It is a standard Dual Daggers mod with Madurai polarity, base drain 4, and maximum rank 5.
Investment
The first rank costs 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits; the rank 4-to-5 step costs 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits. Its bonuses grow with rank, so the last step makes sense when you value the additional +30% Melee Damage and +10% Slash over the rank 3 values. The listed percentages are mod effects, not final weapon damage.
Keep stance mods distinct
Biting Piranha is identified as a Conclave stance, while Gnashing Payara and Sinking Talon are standard Dual Daggers stance mods. Amar’s Contempt is a standard damage mod, so those stance entries do not describe equivalent effects or replacements.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Requires a standard mod slot and investment to reach its listed maximum bonuses.
- Slash is a separate listed bonus; it should not be mistaken for a guaranteed final damage amount.
