Effect and conditions
At rank 0, Oxylus automatically picks plants within 20 m over 5.0 seconds. At maximum rank 5, the range is 50 m and the stated time is 2.0 seconds. The rank 3 example is 38 m over 3.2 seconds.
Equipment and slot
Botanist is an Oxylus mod with Penjaga polarity, base drain 4, and maximum rank 5. It occupies a standard slot and is compatible with Oxylus; the effect is described as automatic plant pickup by that Sentinel.
Ranking investment
Ranking improves both range and pickup time. The supplied examples list 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits for rank 0 to 1, and 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits for rank 4 to 5. Higher investment is most useful when the added reach and shorter time matter for your plant gathering; it competes for a standard Oxylus slot.
How it differs from Scan Matter
Scan Matter is another Oxylus mod, but it reveals resource containers and mineral deposits within 60 m and automatically breaks containers and collects resources every 3 seconds. Those are container and resource effects; Botanist is specifically described as picking plants.
