Understand Crowd Dispersion
Useful when…
- Knock down multiple nearby enemies around Wyrm.
- Use the rank progression to extend the listed radius from 6.0 m to 10.0 m.
When does the effect activate?
Crowd Dispersion unleashes a radial knockdown when multiple enemies are nearby. At rank 0 the radius is 6.0 m and the listed damage is 6.0; at rank 3 these values are 8.4 m and 8.4 damage; at rank 5 they are 10.0 m and 10.0 damage. Its trigger requires multiple nearby enemies, so it is not described as a response to a lone target.
How should Wyrm use it?
This is a standard Wyrm mod with Penjaga polarity and base drain 2. Its radial knockdown is the supported crowd-control use. Negate, a comparison candidate, instead prevents status effects from applying to its owner once every 5 seconds; that is a defensive status-prevention effect, not an area knockdown. The two descriptions address different threats.
Rank and resource tradeoff
The mod reaches rank 5. The radius grows from 6.0 m at rank 0 to 8.4 m at rank 3 and 10.0 m at rank 5, while the listed damage rises by the same numeric amounts. The final step from rank 4 to 5 costs 160 Endo and 7,728 Credits. Rank it for a larger knockdown radius if that crowd-control reach matters to your setup.
Acquisition
The listed sources are Leech Osprey, Sapping Osprey, and variants of those units. Their listed chances are cached snapshot values and do not guarantee current availability.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The knockdown requires multiple nearby enemies.
- Its listed damage is low relative to the practical crowd-control purpose described.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting it to activate against only one nearby enemy.
- Treating the small listed damage value as its main benefit instead of the knockdown.
