Understand Grimoire
Useful when…
- Consider Tome Mods for their described Warframe Ability enhancement.
- Assess the normal and active projectile and radial components separately.
- Keep this Tome entry’s stats distinct from the Pistol-labeled comparison Grimoire.
Normal and active attack entries
The normal projectile is listed at 1.5 attacks per second, with 20% critical chance, a 2× critical multiplier, 26% status chance, and 100 Electricity damage. Its separate radial entry lists 50 Electricity damage and 80% reduction at the 1 m endpoint. The active projectile is listed at 1 attack per second, with 20% critical chance, a 2× multiplier, 26% status chance, and 350 Electricity damage. Its radial entry lists 250 Electricity damage and 80% reduction at the 6 m endpoint. The description says the alternate voltaic orb has guaranteed Electricity Status, but the attack entries list 26% status chance.
Tome Mod support
The description says Tome Mods can enhance Warframe Abilities and reward strategic combat. It does not name individual Tome Mod effects or specify a particular ability bonus.
Distinguish the Pistol-labeled entry
The comparison Grimoire is labeled Pistol and lists 8% critical chance and a 1.6× multiplier, compared with this Tome entry’s 20% and 2×. Keep each value with its record. Aksondol’s description mentions a Cold pulse on reload, and Dual Coda Torxica’s mentions a spreading spore on enemy death; these are different effects from Tome Mod ability enhancement.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The normal radial entry has a 1 m falloff endpoint; the active radial entry has a separate 6 m endpoint.
- The active projectile has a lower listed attack speed than the normal projectile.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not claim the active attack entry guarantees Electricity Status; it lists 26%, and the description’s orb claim is unresolved against that entry.
- Do not confuse this Tome entry’s critical stats with the Pistol-labeled comparison entry.
- Do not assume normal and active attacks share the same speed, radial damage, or falloff distance.
