Understand Komorex
Useful when…
- Use the normal projectile entry when considering its listed physical damage and projectile speed.
- Consider the separate zoomed radial entry when its listed Viral damage is relevant.
Normal projectile attack
Normal Attack lists speed 5, projectile speed 250, 16% critical chance, a 2.1x critical multiplier, and 35% status chance. It lists 9.7 Impact, 46.56 Slash, and 40.74 Puncture.
Zoomed radial attack
The separate 3.5x Zoom Radial Attack lists 53 Viral damage, 34% status chance, and falloff from 0 to 3.6 with 40% reduction. The description says zooming reduces recoil and adds punch through; zooming again fires a Viral burst at a lower rate of fire.
Magazine and related snipers
Komorex is semi-automatic, holds 20 rounds, reloads in 3 seconds, and has built-in ammo conversion. Lanka is described as firing a high-velocity projectile. Perigale grants Infinite Ammo for quick successive headshots. Snipetron is described as a powerful, accurate rifle with optical zoom for long-range engagements.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The normal attack is a projectile rather than hit-scan.
- The 20-round magazine is paired with a listed 3-second reload.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not label either falloff range in metres; the units are not supplied.
- Do not conflate the zoomed radial attack with the normal projectile attack.
