Understand Tenet Ferrox
Useful when…
- Use the charged hitscan shot for aimed primary fire and its small radial hit.
- Throw the spear when you want the projectile attack and its attraction field.
How its attacks differ
The charged shot takes 0.4 seconds to charge and deals Impact, Puncture, and Slash damage. It has 34% critical chance, a 3x critical multiplier, and 26% status chance. Its radial attack is a separate area hit with 30% damage falloff by 4 m. Spear Throw is a projectile with 4% critical chance, 2x multiplier, and 40% status chance; Attraction Field is an area attack with 4% critical chance and 50% status chance, dealing Electricity damage.
Handling and investment
The primary trigger is Charge, with a 20-round magazine and 1.8-second reload. Its two Madurai and one Vazarin polarity are useful starting points for matching compatible mods. Prioritize a setup for the charged shot if that is your main fire mode; do not assume those critical stats apply to the thrown spear or field.
Choosing between alternatives
The Battacor also builds charge through kills for a discharge, while the Ax-52 has different aiming and hip-fire conditions. Those are distinct handling hooks, not evidence that either is a direct upgrade. Consider them when their specific charge or firing conditions fit your preferences.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Charged primary fire requires a 0.4-second charge.
- Thrown spear and attraction field have much lower critical chance than the charged hit.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not use the charged shot's 34% critical chance as the spear's value; the spear lists 4%.
- Do not treat the radial attack, spear projectile, and attraction field as one attack mode.
