Understand Esti Vel-Ikha
Useful when…
- Consider it when longer Void Sling travel is useful for crossing gaps or repositioning.
- Consider it when your equipped Mods span multiple Schools and you want the per-unique-School radius bonus.
What does it do?
At rank 0, the Mod grants +5% maximum Void Sling distance; at rank 3, +20%; and at rank 5, +30%. Separately, it grants +10% Void Sling radius for each Mod from a unique School. The radius effect is described per qualifying Mod, while distance scales with this Mod’s rank.
When should I equip it?
It is a practical choice if you value longer Sling reach or want the radius bonus and can meet its unique-School condition with your other Mods. The slot is identified as standard.
How far should I rank it?
Ranking raises the distance bonus from 5% at rank 0 to 30% at rank 5, while the listed radius bonus remains +10% per Mod from a unique School at the shown ranks. The example fusion costs rise from 480 Endo and 15,000 Credits for rank 0 to 1, to 7,680 Endo and 240,000 Credits for rank 4 to 5. Invest further when the added distance matters to your use; the school-based radius bonus is already listed at rank 0.
How it differs from other Antiques
The listed alternatives have distinct effects: Lashta-Vak makes Void Sling emit a container-breaking pulse with range tied to unique-School Mods; Empazu-Shol adds Tauron Strike initial charge with a unique-School bonus; Metem-Erun increases Operator sprint speed with a unique-School bonus. These are different goals, so compare the effect you want rather than treating them as direct replacements.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Higher ranks increase maximum Sling distance but cost progressively more Endo and Credits.
- The radius bonus depends on Mods from unique Schools in the loadout.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting the full +30% distance at rank 0; that value requires rank 5.
- Counting multiple Mods from the same School as multiple unique Schools for the radius bonus.
