Understand Fass
Useful when…
- Test Fass as one possible Requiem in a nemesis passphrase.
- Track charges as successful Requiem Mercies consume equipped mods.
Passphrase testing
A Kuva Lich or Sister of Parvos has a passphrase of three different Requiems in a specific order. Murmurs reveal which Requiems are included, but not their order, so Fass can be tested alongside other distinct Requiem mods.
Parazon slots and charges
Requiem mods use dedicated Parazon slots, with up to three distinct mods equipped and no duplicate copies of the same mod. They have no polarity or capacity drain. Fass begins with three charges; its native rank counts charges consumed, rather than Endo-based upgrade levels.
Defiled state and trading
After all three charges are used, Fass becomes Defiled and cannot be used for its Requiem purpose. Requiem mods can be traded at any rank, including Defiled, with the rare-mod trade tax of 8,000 Credits.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- A successful Requiem Mercy that sends the nemesis to its final confrontation consumes one charge from each equipped Requiem mod.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating native rank as an Endo upgrade level; it records charges consumed.
- Equipping duplicate copies of Fass in multiple Requiem slots.
- Assuming murmurs reveal the passphrase order.
