Effect and condition
At maximum rank, a kill grants +30% Fire Rate for 3 seconds. Rank 0 grants +7.5% for 0.75 seconds; rank 2 grants +22.5% for 2 seconds. The bonus requires a kill, so it does not provide the listed increase before that trigger.
Fit and rank costs
Gorgon Frenzy is a standard-slot Conclave mod compatible with Gorgon. It has Madurai polarity, base drain 10, and maximum rank 3. The listed rank steps cost 30, 60, then 120 Endo and 1,449, 2,898, then 5,796 Credits. Rank it if the longer duration and larger post-kill bonus justify that investment and slot cost.
Different Gorgon option
Metamorphic Magazine is a standard-variant Gorgon mod with magazine and ammo capacity bonuses; it petrifies an enemy after 20 cumulative attacks on that enemy for 5 seconds. It does not provide Gorgon Frenzy's post-kill fire-rate effect, so compare them by the specific utility sought rather than treating one as a direct substitute.
