Effect and fit
This standard rifle mod has Naramon polarity, base drain 6, and maximum rank 5. Its bonus rises from +15% Toxin at rank 0 to +60% at rank 3 and +90% at rank 5. That is the mod’s listed bonus, not a final damage calculation.
Rank investment
The largest listed costs occur in later ranks: the rank 4-to-5 step costs 320 Endo and 15,456 credits. A partial rank retains a smaller Toxin bonus with less investment, which may be useful when balancing capacity and other mods.
Alternatives and exclusions
Flawed Infected Clip reaches +40% Toxin at rank 3 but cannot be equipped with this standard version. Aerial Ace occupies the Exilus slot and refreshes Double Jump on kills while airborne; Agile Aim is a Conclave Exilus mod that adds movement speed while aiming. Neither provides the Toxin effect of Infected Clip.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Max rank gives the largest listed Toxin bonus but requires substantial fusion resources and base drain is 6.
- The Flawed variant cannot be used alongside it.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not treat +90% Toxin as the rifle’s final damage increase; it is the mod’s listed bonus.
- Do not equip it with Flawed Infected Clip; the variants are incompatible.
