Understand Necramech Slipstream
Useful when…
- Add the listed Slide bonus to a Necramech.
- Compare its Slide bonus with mods whose listed effects are Slide Attack Damage or Slide Efficiency.
Effect and rank progression
Slipstream grants +10% Slide at rank 0, +40% at rank 3, and +60% at rank 5. Necramech Blitz instead lists +80% Slide Attack Damage, while Necramech Friction lists +60% Slide Efficiency; these describe distinct effects.
Slot fit and fusion costs
This is a standard Necramech mod with Naramon polarity, base drain 6, and maximum rank 5. Listed fusion examples are 10 Endo and 483 Credits from rank 0 to 1, 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits from rank 2 to 3, and 160 Endo and 7,728 Credits from rank 4 to 5. The rank 4-to-5 step is the most expensive of these examples for a 20-point increase in the listed bonus.
Distinguish other Necramech effects
Necramech Augur lists conversion of 240% of energy spent on abilities to Shields. That is an ability-energy effect, separate from Slipstream’s Slide bonus; it is not a direct substitute when seeking Slide.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- It uses a standard mod slot and has base drain 6.
- The listed percentage alone does not establish movement distance or speed.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Reading +60% Slide as Slide Attack Damage or Slide Efficiency.
- Treating the listed Slide percentage as a specified movement distance or speed.
