Understand Omn-Evi
Useful when…
- Add Critical Chance to an Amp.
- Increase the mod's Critical Damage bonus by equipping Zenurik School Mods.
Amp bonuses and condition
Omn-Evi gives +10% Amp Critical Chance at rank 0, +40% at rank 3, and +60% at rank 5. It also gives +10% Amp Critical Damage for each Zenurik School Mod. The Critical Damage bonus is conditional on the number of such mods; the supplied figures do not state that this per-mod amount increases by rank.
Rank and fitting
The mod is an Antique type standard mod with universal polarity, base drain 0, and five ranks. Its listed costs are 320 Endo and 10,000 Credits from rank 0 to 1, 1,280 Endo and 40,000 Credits from rank 2 to 3, and 5,120 Endo and 160,000 Credits from rank 4 to 5. Rank upgrades raise Critical Chance; the cost rises substantially at higher ranks in the listed steps, so consider how much Amp critical chance matters to your setup.
Other Antique bonuses
Sil-Tabol increases Amp Status Chance and adds Status Damage per Vazarin School Mod; Da-Ren adds Operator Shields and a bonus for each Unairu School Mod; Empazu-Shol increases Tauron Strike Initial Charge and adds a bonus for each unique School represented. These are distinct effects with different conditions, not substitutes for Omn-Evi's Amp critical bonuses.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Its Critical Damage component depends on Zenurik School Mod count.
- Higher Critical Chance ranks have large listed Endo and Credit costs.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the per-Zenurik-mod Critical Damage bonus is itself increased by rank.
- Treating the other Antique mods' status, shield, or Tauron Strike effects as equivalent Amp Critical bonuses.
