Understand Oull
Useful when…
- Covering any Requiem position while testing a nemesis sequence
- Using a flexible mod when the exact Requiem or sequence position is uncertain
What is Oull's effect?
Oull acts as a wildcard and can replace any Requiem in the sequence tested against a Kuva Lich or Sister of Parvos. Murmurs reveal which Requiems the passphrase contains, but not their order; Oull can provide flexibility while testing positions. How does equipment and charge use work?
Oull occupies one dedicated Requiem slot on the Parazon. Up to three distinct Requiem mods can be equipped, and duplicate copies cannot share those slots. Requiem mods have no polarity or capacity drain. Oull begins with three charges; each successful Requiem Mercy that sends the nemesis to its final confrontation consumes one charge from every equipped Requiem mod. What are the limits of the wildcard?
Oull provides flexibility for a sequence position, but it does not reveal the passphrase's order. Once its three charges are spent, it becomes Defiled and cannot be used for its Parazon purpose. Its native rank tracks charges consumed, rather than ordinary mod progression. Limitations and tradeoffs
- A flexible Oull position can stand in for any Requiem, but successful Requiem Mercies consume its limited charges just as they consume charges on other equipped Requiem mods.
- Using Oull still takes one of the three distinct Requiem slots and does not by itself solve sequence order.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not mistake Oull for a clue to the passphrase's order; murmurs do not reveal order either.
- Do not equip a second Oull in another Requiem slot.
- Do not treat its rank as an Endo-upgrade level or expect a Defiled copy to be usable.
