Understand Primed Bane of Orokin
Useful when…
- Add faction-specific damage to a rifle loadout for Orokin enemies.
- Choose an intermediate rank when the final-rank cost or capacity matters more than the increase.
Effect and fit
The listed damage multipliers against Orokin are 1.05× at rank 0, 1.3× at rank 5, and 1.55× at rank 10. It is a standard-slot rifle mod with Madurai polarity, base drain 4, and max rank 10. It cannot be equipped with Bane of Orokin.
Compare rank and alternatives
The standard Bane of Orokin reaches 1.3× at rank 5. Primed Bane raises the maximum to 1.55×; moving from rank 9 to 10 costs 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits. Consider whether that added matchup-specific multiplier is worth the investment for your use. Aerial Ace is an Exilus mod for airborne double-jump refreshes after kills, and Agile Aim is a Conclave Exilus mod for movement while aiming; neither has the same listed damage effect.
Slot and matchup
Use it when the rifle is being brought against Orokin and you are willing to assign a standard mod slot to that purpose. The faction bonus is not a general-purpose rifle increase for every enemy type.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Max rank requires substantial Endo and Credits at the final step.
- The damage multiplier is matchup-specific and uses a standard slot.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the Orokin multiplier as a general damage bonus against all factions.
- Trying to equip Bane of Orokin alongside its Primed version.
