Understand Primed Smite Grineer
Useful when…
- Adding the listed Grineer damage multiplier to a melee configuration.
- Preparing a melee setup for Grineer combat.
Effect and rank scaling
The listed damage multiplier against Grineer is x1.05 at rank 0, x1.3 at rank 5, and x1.55 at rank 10. Those figures describe this mod’s listed effect, not the weapon’s final damage output.
Fit and compatibility
It is a standard-slot melee mod with Madurai polarity and base drain 4. It is incompatible with Smite Grineer and Flawed Smite Grineer. Amalgam Organ Shatter is a different candidate for the same melee category and polarity, listing critical damage and heavy attack wind-up speed instead of a Grineer-specific multiplier.
Rank investment
It ranks from 0 to 10. Example step costs listed are 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits for 0→1, 1,280 Endo and 61,824 Credits for 5→6, and 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits for 9→10. The listed effect increases from x1.3 at rank 5 to x1.55 at rank 10; consider whether that increase merits the later fusion investment for your Grineer-focused use.
Alternatives and limits
Smite Grineer lists x1.3 at rank 5, and Flawed Smite Grineer lists x1.2 at rank 3. They provide lower listed multipliers and are explicitly incompatible with the Primed variant. The stated bonus is against Grineer, so do not count it as a general-purpose damage increase.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Uses a standard melee slot for damage against one named faction.
- The higher listed ranks have much larger example Endo and Credit costs.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Using it with either Smite Grineer variant despite the listed incompatibility.
- Reading x1.55 as the weapon’s final damage multiplier across all enemies.
- Treating the rank 9→10 example step as the total cost of ranking the mod.
