Understand Prosperous Retriever
Useful when…
- Adding a chance to double Credit pickups through a beast companion.
- Using a Naramon-polarity companion slot with base drain 2.
Effect and restrictions
At rank 5, Prosperous Retriever gives an 18% chance to double Credit pickups; rank 0 begins at 5.5%, and rank 3 gives 13%. It is a standard Beast mod with Naramon polarity and base drain 2. It is incompatible with Loyal Retriever and Resourceful Retriever.
Rank investment
The mod has five ranks. The listed rank 0-to-1 cost is 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits; rank 2-to-3 costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits; and rank 4-to-5 costs 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits. Rank it according to how much the increased chance matters for your Credit pickups.
Choosing among related effects
Loyal Retriever offers a 13% chance to double both Credit and Resource pickups, while Resourceful Retriever offers an 18% chance to double Resource pickups. Both are explicitly incompatible with Prosperous Retriever. Fetch instead detects and collects items within its Companion Gather-Link range; it does not double pickups.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The chance to double a pickup is not guaranteed.
- Retriever alternatives are mutually incompatible with this mod.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not expect every Credit pickup to double; the rank 5 effect is an 18% chance.
- Do not plan to equip it alongside Loyal Retriever or Resourceful Retriever; they are listed as incompatible.
