Protect GUIDE
Understand Protect
Useful when…
- Replenishing shields for both the Raksa Kubrow and its master.
- Adding the Kubrow's shield regeneration rate to its master's for 3 seconds.
Effect and conditions
Protect restores both the Kubrow's and master's shields by a percentage of the Kubrow's maximum shields. At rank 0 the amount is 5%; rank 3 gives 20%; rank 5 gives 30%. It also adds the Kubrow's shield regeneration rate to the master's for 3 seconds. This standard precept is for Raksa Kubrow and has Penjaga polarity and base drain 0.
Rank investment
The mod has five ranks. The listed rank 0-to-1 step costs 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits; rank 2-to-3 costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits; rank 4-to-5 costs 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits. The shield replenishment percentage scales with rank, while the regeneration-rate effect remains listed as 3 seconds.
Different Raksa utility
Howl is a separate Raksa Kubrow precept: it fears up to 15 enemies within 24 meters for 16 seconds. That crowd-control effect does not restore shields, so choose based on whether the desired function is shield support or enemy fear.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The restored shield amount is based on the Kubrow's maximum shields, not a stated fixed amount.
- The regeneration contribution lasts 3 seconds.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not mistake the percentage base: the replenishment is calculated from the Kubrow's maximum shields.
- Do not expect the regeneration-rate addition to last longer than the listed 3 seconds.
