Spontaneous Singularity

Simulor weapon augment

Released May 21, 2025

Spontaneous Singularity changes Simulor orbs so they explode immediately on striking targets, adding bonus damage and a chance to pull in more targets. Consider it if you want direct impacts and do not rely on the weapon's orb bouncing or combining behavior.

Spontaneous Singularity GUIDE

Understand Spontaneous Singularity

Useful when…

  • Use on the compatible Simulor when immediate impact explosions are desirable.
  • Use the singularity chance to draw additional targets into the effect.

Effect and condition

This standard Madurai Simulor mod makes orbs that strike targets explode immediately. At rank 5, the effect adds 90% bonus damage and has an 18% chance of a singularity that pulls in more targets. Orbs do not bounce or combine while this effect applies. At rank 0, the bonus is 15% and singularity chance is 3%.

Rank and capacity

The mod has base drain 2 and reaches rank 5. The listed costs are 30, 60, 120, 240, and 480 Endo, plus credits from 1,449 to 23,184 per step. Rank increases both the impact bonus and singularity chance; invest according to the value of those increases against the escalating costs.

Practical limitation

Immediate explosions are paired with the loss of orb bouncing and combining. The singularity is a chance effect, not guaranteed on every hit. No acquisition source or additional compatibility detail is specified beyond Simulor.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • The immediate-explosion behavior prevents the orbs from bouncing or combining.
  • The target-pulling singularity is chance-based.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Do not expect the orbs to bounce or combine while using the mod.
  • Do not assume every impact creates a singularity; its chance is 18% at maximum rank.
