Understand Static Alacrity
Useful when…
- Use it when projectile speed is useful and a reduced blast radius is acceptable.
- Consider a lower rank to trade a smaller speed increase for a less severe radius reduction.
What changes as it ranks?
Static Alacrity is a Conclave Staticor mod with Madurai polarity and base drain 6. At rank 0 it gives +12.5% projectile speed and -12.5% blast radius; rank 2 gives +37.5% and -37.5%; rank 3 gives +50% and -50%. Speed and area change together in opposite directions.
How much does ranking cost?
The mod has ranks 0–3. Example steps cost 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits for 0→1, 60 Endo and 2,898 Credits for 1→2, and 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for 2→3. Each rank raises projectile speed while also reducing blast radius, so rank according to the handling tradeoff you want.
What should you watch for?
The mod applies to the Staticor and is marked Conclave. Its radius penalty grows alongside its speed bonus; ranking fully means accepting both listed changes. The supplied details list Conclave reward rotations as acquisition sources, but do not imply that a particular source is currently available.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Faster projectile speed comes with a smaller blast radius.
- It is specific to the Staticor and Conclave variant.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Ranking for projectile speed without accounting for the simultaneous blast radius reduction.
- Applying the mod to a weapon other than the Staticor.
