Threat Blocker GUIDE
Understand Threat Blocker
Useful when…
- Use on a Parazon when seeking Potency mod drops while retaining the listed Disinfection bonus.
What does it do?
Threat Blocker is a universal-polarity Parazon mod. At every listed rank from 0 through 3, it grants 10% Disinfection and a 25% chance to drop a Potency mod. The effect is unchanged by fusion.
Is ranking it worthwhile?
The mod has no base drain and reaches rank 3, but fusion costs Endo and Credits without raising either listed effect. Leaving it unranked preserves the full stated bonus. Quick Correct instead lists a chance to drop a Live Heartcell, while Turbo Protect lists a chance to drop an Antivirus mod; those are different rewards, not direct upgrades to Threat Blocker.
Where can it drop?
Listed sources include Techrot Skuzzi, Obsolyte, Matmas, Babau, and Scaart. The supplied source-specific chances vary; they are not a guarantee of a drop.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Its reward chance and Disinfection value remain fixed at every rank.
- Using the Parazon slot for it means choosing its listed Potency reward over other Parazon mod effects.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not rank it expecting the listed chance or Disinfection bonus to increase.
