Understand Toxic Sequence
Useful when…
- Use on Acrid when extending status duration is useful.
What does it add?
Toxic Sequence is a standard Acrid mod with Vazarin polarity and base drain 4. At rank 0 it grants 50% Status Duration and 0.3 Sequence; rank 2 grants 150% and 0.8; rank 3 grants 200% and 1 Sequence.
Is fusion worthwhile?
The status-duration and Sequence values rise together through rank 3. Fusion costs increase at each step, from 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits for the first step to 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for the final step. Invest according to how much additional duration your Acrid setup needs and the capacity available.
What should you keep in mind?
This mod is compatible with Acrid specifically. Its stated effects are Status Duration and Sequence; do not read it as a Status Chance mod or assume a Sequence trigger not described in the supplied effect.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Acrid-only compatibility limits its use.
- Fusion raises the listed duration and Sequence values but consumes Endo and Credits.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not confuse Status Duration with Status Chance.
- Do not assume an unspecified Sequence trigger from the listed Sequence value.
