Understand Transfusion
Useful when…
- Give a Vasca Kavat a way to raise its master while the master is bleeding out.
What triggers the rescue?
The effect activates when the master is bleeding out. The Vasca Kavat sacrifices Health to raise them: the listed cost is 80% at rank 0, 40% at rank 2, and 20% at rank 3. Ranking the mod lowers the stated health sacrifice.
When should you equip it?
Use it when you want the companion to provide an emergency raise and accept the Health cost to the Kavat. Draining Bite has a different focus: it inflicts five Slash stacks at 150% of the Kavat’s melee damage and restores 10% Health to itself. That self-healing attack does not perform Transfusion’s revive effect.
Rank investment
Transfusion has maximum rank 3, zero base drain, and penjaga polarity. Its listed fusion costs are 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits for rank 0 to 1, 60 and 2,898 for rank 1 to 2, and 120 and 5,796 for rank 2 to 3. Higher ranks reduce the Kavat’s sacrifice from 80% to 20%, making rank investment directly relevant to the cost of triggering the rescue.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The rescue costs the Vasca Kavat a portion of its Health.
- It only triggers when the master is bleeding out.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not treat the Health sacrifice as a fixed 20% at every rank; it is 80% at rank 0 and 20% at rank 3.
- Do not expect it to trigger outside the stated bleeding-out condition.
