Understand Unleashed
Useful when…
- Have a Sunika Kubrow seek Overguard-protected Eximus within the precept’s range.
- Use when the companion’s target priority and Overguard damage bonus suit the mission.
Targets and effect
At rank 0, the Kubrow hunts Eximus units protected by Overguard within 35m. Rank 3 raises that range to 50m, and rank 5 reaches 60m. The precept grants +300% Damage against Overguard at all three shown ranks. Its listed compatibility is Sunika Kubrow, so it is not a general robotic companion mod.
Rank investment and alternative
This mod has maximum rank 5 and base drain 0. Example fusion costs rise from 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits at rank 0→1 to 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits at 4→5. Rank investment extends target range; the listed damage bonus does not increase. Savagery has a different effect: the Kubrow rushes at up to eight enemies within 10m, dealing damage and knocking them over. It is not a substitute for Unleashed’s Overguard target behavior.
Practical limits
The effect is specific to a Sunika Kubrow, Eximus targets protected by Overguard, and the precept’s range. It does not describe general target selection or a damage bonus against enemies without Overguard. Consider whether increasing range is worth the fusion cost for the situations where those targets matter.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The target hunting applies specifically to Overguard-protected Eximus units.
- Fusion raises range, not the listed +300% damage bonus.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Equipping it on a companion other than a Sunika Kubrow.
- Assuming higher ranks increase the +300% Overguard damage bonus.
