Understand Warrior's Rest
Useful when…
- Gain the augment’s Ability Strength bonus on Excalibur Umbra.
- Use when you accept that Umbra no longer fights independently alongside the Operator.
Effect and tradeoff
At maximum rank, Warrior’s Rest increases Umbra’s Ability Strength by 15%, but he no longer fights independently alongside his Operator. Rank 0 grants +2.5%, and rank 3 grants +10%. The loss of independent fighting is part of the augment’s stated effect, not a separate optional condition.
Fit and fusion
This is an Exilus mod specifically for Excalibur Umbra, with Zenurik polarity, base drain 2, and maximum rank 5. Listed fusion steps cost 30, 120, and 480 Endo and 1,449, 5,796, and 23,184 Credits for the shown rank increases. Ranking raises the Strength bonus; weigh the higher bonus against the increasing costs and the passive’s combat behavior change.
When to equip it
Use it when Umbra’s Ability Strength is the desired benefit and independent fighting alongside the Operator is not needed. If that autonomous fighting behavior is part of the way you rely on Umbra, the augment’s stated drawback directly conflicts with that use.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The Strength bonus comes with the loss of Umbra’s independent fighting alongside the Operator.
- Requires Excalibur Umbra and consumes an Exilus slot.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not focus on the Ability Strength bonus while overlooking the loss of Umbra’s independent fighting.
- Do not assume the maximum-rank bonus is available at rank 0.
