Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin · Upgrade
[9] Mundane
The Mundane path, available from Steady Hand McDuff with an Old Mundane Stone, makes a weapon scale with the player's lowest stat. It reduces base damage by about 50% and reduces original scaling; the source gives +200 bonus damage at 30 in every stat.

What to consider
The source describes it as useful for near-equal-stat builds and fast weapons; leveling only some stats above the lowest does not increase its damage.
