Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin · Upgrade
Mundane
Steady Hand McDuff applies Mundane infusion using Old Mundane Stone. It makes the weapon scale from the player's lowest stat, reduces base damage by about 50%, and decreases its original scaling. The note gives +200 bonus damage with 30 points in every stat.

What to consider
The note identifies near-equal stats and fast-attack weapons as useful cases; raising only some stats does not improve damage while another remains lowest.
