How does the burst’s damage support work?
Shadowless Reflection deals AoE Geo damage and grants 21 Nightingale’s Song stacks for a 20-second effect. When nearby active party members deal Geo damage with Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, or Elemental Bursts, a stack is consumed to increase that damage based on Illuga’s Elemental Mastery. Lunar-Crystallize damage receives a further increase. A hit on multiple opponents consumes multiple stacks according to the number hit, so stacks can be used up faster against groups. If a Geo Construct created by a nearby party member exists when Illuga casts his burst, or a nearby party member creates one while the effect is active, every Geo Construct on the battlefield can grant five additional stacks. Illuga can gain up to 15 additional stacks this way within 20 seconds. The burst costs 60 Energy and has a 15-second cooldown.
What do the skill and passives add?
Dawnbearing Songbird sends Aedon toward enemies in front when tapped; holding enters aim mode and sends it toward the targeted opponent. The hold hit has higher listed damage scaling than the tap hit, and both scale with Elemental Mastery and Defense. After using the skill or burst, other nearby party members gain Lightkeeper’s Oath for 20 seconds: their Geo damage gains 5% CRIT Rate and 10% CRIT DMG. At Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam, affected party members also gain 50 Elemental Mastery. Demonhunter’s Dusk further increases Nightingale’s Song damage based on the number of Hydro or Geo characters in the party, with a further stated increase for Lunar-Crystallize damage.
Who benefits and what merits investment?
The burst bonus is consumed when nearby active party members deal Geo damage, so those attacks during the effect are its relevant trigger. Geo Constructs can add stacks when the stated construct conditions are met, up to 15 additional stacks. Illuga’s burst damage increases use his Elemental Mastery; his skill damage uses both Elemental Mastery and Defense. Ascension and talent upgrades use separate resources, and the burst costs 60 Energy.
What limits the buff?
Nightingale’s Song is a finite pool: stacks are consumed by Geo damage, and multi-target hits can consume several at once. The effect lasts up to 20 seconds but can end sooner when all stacks are consumed. Additional stacks rely on the stated Geo Construct conditions and are capped at 15. Lightkeeper’s Oath adds CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG specifically to Geo damage dealt by other nearby party members. Chiori, Xilonen, and Linnea are listed as Geo comparison candidates, but their element and weapon facts alone do not establish that their support mechanics match Illuga’s.

Light the lamp, dealing AoE Geo DMG, and gain Haunted Night's Oriole-Song effect for 20s. When this effect is active, Illuga gains 21 stacks of **Nightingale's Song**. When Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts of nearby active party members deal Geo DMG to opponents, 1 stack of Nightingale's Song is consumed to increase the DMG dealt. Increase in DMG is based on Illuga's Elemental Mastery. If DMG is inflicted by Lunar-Crystallize, DMG dealt will increase further. When Geo DMG dealt in this manner hits multiple opponents, multiple stacks of Nightingale's Song will be consumed, depending on how many opponents are hit.
Additionally, if there are Geo Constructs created by nearby party members on the battlefield while Illuga unleashes his Elemental Burst, or when nearby party members create Geo Constructs while Haunted Night's Oriole-Song is active, every Geo Construct on the battlefield will allow Illuga to gain 5 additional stacks of Nightingale's Song. Within 20s after unleashing his Elemental Burst, Illuga can gain a maximum of 15 additional stacks of Nightingale's Song this way.
When all stacks of Nightingale's Song have been consumed, or when the state's duration ends, the Haunted Night's Oriole-Song effect will end.
