Understand Aquila Favonia
Useful when…
- Its Physical DMG Bonus secondary stat and ATK increase are the listed offensive stats.
- When the wielder takes damage, its passive can restore HP and deal damage to surrounding opponents, subject to a 15-second trigger interval.
Stats and damage-triggered effect
Aquila Favonia is a five-star sword with Physical DMG Bonus as its secondary stat. At R1, it increases ATK by 20%. When the wielder takes damage, it restores HP equal to 100% of ATK and deals damage equal to 200% of ATK to surrounding opponents. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds. At R5, the ATK increase is 40%, the HP restoration is 160% of ATK, and the damage is 320% of ATK; the interval remains 15 seconds.
Other sword passive conditions
Absolution has CRIT DMG and increases the wielder’s DMG when Bond of Life value increases. Amenoma Kageuchi has ATK and grants Succession Seeds after casting an Elemental Skill; after a Burst consumes seeds, it restores Energy. These effects depend on different conditions than Aquila Favonia’s trigger on taking damage.
Ascension and refinement
Weapon ascension has six stages. Refinement raises Aquila Favonia’s ATK increase, the HP restored, and the damage dealt when its passive triggers; the listed trigger interval stays at 15 seconds. Refinement example steps require a sacrifice copy of Aquila Favonia and Mora.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The secondary stat is Physical DMG Bonus.
- The HP restoration and damage trigger when the wielder takes damage, with a 15-second interval.
- Refinement consumes another copy and improves the listed effect values.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not expect the effect to trigger from dealing damage; it triggers when the wielder takes damage.
- Do not expect the effect to trigger more than once every 15 seconds.
- Treat its restoration and damage as percentages of ATK, not fixed amounts.
