Bloodsoaked Ruins GUIDE
Understand Bloodsoaked Ruins
Useful when…
- A polearm wielder whose damage plan includes Lunar-Charged reactions.
- A wielder who can trigger Lunar-Charged after using an Elemental Burst to activate both timed benefits.
What does it do?
The weapon has 47.5 base ATK and a CRIT Rate secondary stat. At R1, for 3.5 seconds after using an Elemental Burst, the wielder's Lunar-Charged DMG is increased by 36%. Triggering a Lunar-Charged reaction grants 28% CRIT DMG for 6 seconds and restores 12 Energy. That Energy restoration can occur once every 14 seconds.
How do the conditions shape its use?
The Lunar-Charged DMG bonus is tied to a brief period after Burst use; the CRIT DMG and Energy benefits instead require triggering Lunar-Charged. The Energy has its own 14-second limit. This makes the weapon most coherent for a wielder who can satisfy both conditions, rather than one who only uses a Burst or only triggers unrelated reactions.
What does refinement add?
Ascension advances the weapon through six stages. Refinement consumes another Bloodsoaked Ruins copy and Mora; from R1 to R5, the post-Burst Lunar-Charged DMG bonus rises from 36% to 84%, the CRIT DMG bonus from 28% to 56%, and the Energy restoration from 12 to 16. Because these gains strengthen conditional effects, consider refinement in light of how reliably the wielder triggers Lunar-Charged and uses the Burst window.
How do the listed polearms differ?
The Catch increases Energy Recharge and boosts Elemental Burst DMG and Burst CRIT Rate. Ballad of the Fjords grants Elemental Mastery when the party contains at least three different Elemental Types. Beginner's Protector is a 1-star polearm without a secondary stat. Their listed effects serve other needs and do not replicate Bloodsoaked Ruins' Lunar-Charged conditions.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The reaction damage bonus lasts only 3.5 seconds after Burst use.
- The CRIT DMG and Energy effects require Lunar-Charged, and Energy restoration is limited to once per 14 seconds.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the post-Burst Lunar-Charged bonus as permanent.
- Expecting the CRIT DMG or Energy effect from reactions other than Lunar-Charged.
