Understand Lithic Spear
Useful when…
- Use in a party with several Liyue characters when the wielder deals ATK-scaling damage.
- Consider it when you can maintain the party composition without compromising other team needs.
How the passive works
At refinement 1, each Liyue party member grants 7% ATK and 3% CRIT Rate, up to four stacks. At refinement 5, each grants 11% ATK and 7% CRIT Rate. The count is based on party members who hail from Liyue, so the benefit depends on the full party rather than the wielder's attack sequence.
When its stats fit
Its ATK secondary stat and party-based CRIT Rate can support an ATK-oriented damage build. The Catch instead offers Energy Recharge and Burst DMG plus Burst CRIT Rate, so it is a more direct fit when Burst damage and energy are the relevant needs. Ballad of the Fjords has CRIT Rate and grants Elemental Mastery only when at least three different Elemental Types are present; that condition is different from Lithic Spear's Liyue count.
Investment and tradeoffs
Weapon ascension raises the weapon through six stages; the listed examples show Mora and material costs at selected transitions. Refinement consumes a Lithic Spear copy and Mora. Refining increases the per-member ATK and CRIT Rate bonuses, so its value rises with the number of qualifying party members; weigh that incremental gain against consuming another copy.
Common mistakes
Do not count non-Liyue party members toward the passive or assume the four-stack cap is reached automatically. A low-stack party gives less of the weapon's distinctive benefit, so compare the actual party condition with weapons whose bonuses do not depend on regional character count.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Its passive strength depends on party origin and can compete with team composition choices.
- It has no stated Energy Recharge or Elemental Mastery stat.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Equipping it without checking how many party members qualify for its Liyue-based stacks.
- Treating the four-stack cap as a guaranteed four-character bonus.
