Understand Rightful Reward
Useful when…
- A polearm wielder who values HP and Energy restoration.
- A wielder who can be healed, including while off field.
Healing trigger and Energy
When the wielder is healed, the weapon restores 8 Energy at R1, rising to 16 Energy at R5. The effect can trigger once every 10 seconds and can occur while the wielder is off field. HP is the weapon's secondary stat.
Practical fit
The effect requires the wielder to be healed; healing another party member alone does not meet that stated condition. Because the effect can occur off field, the wielder need not be on screen when healed.
Investment and comparisons
Weapon ascension advances through stages 0–6. Refinement raises Energy restored per trigger from 8 to 16 and uses another Rightful Reward copy plus Mora in the listed transitions. The Catch has Energy Recharge as its secondary stat and increases Elemental Burst DMG and Burst CRIT Rate. Ballad of the Fjords has CRIT Rate and grants Elemental Mastery when the party has at least 3 different Elemental Types. Neither listed passive has Rightful Reward's healing-triggered Energy effect.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Energy restoration requires the wielder to be healed and is limited to once every 10 seconds.
- The HP secondary stat may not match a wielder who does not benefit from HP.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming healing another party member triggers the effect for an unhealed wielder.
- Treating the once-per-10-seconds limit as specifying exact reset behavior.
