Bow damage weapon focused on ATK and Normal Attack damage. Consider it for a bow wielder whose damage plan regularly uses Normal Attacks and can maintain the Thunder Emblem conditions.
Released Aug 10, 2021
Thundering Pulse combines ATK, CRIT DMG, and a stackable Normal Attack DMG bonus. The stack conditions matter: Normal Attack hits, casting an Elemental Skill, and having less than full Energy each grant a stack with separate durations.

Understand Thundering Pulse
Useful when…
Support an on-field bow character whose damage includes frequent Normal Attacks.
Use the conditional stack bonus when the wielder can cast a Skill, attack, and avoid remaining at full Energy.
Stats and Thunder Emblem
The weapon is a 5-star Bow with 45.9364 base ATK and a CRIT DMG secondary stat. At Refinement 1 it also raises ATK by 20%. Thunder Emblem adds Normal Attack DMG: 12% at one stack, 24% at two, and 40% at three. Each stack lasts independently: a Normal Attack hit grants one for 5 seconds, casting an Elemental Skill grants one for 10 seconds, and being below 100% Energy grants one that disappears when Energy is full.
Who can make use of it?
Its special bonus targets Normal Attacks, so it is most relevant when the equipped Bow user deals a meaningful share of damage through that attack type while on field. It does not say that Charged Attack, Skill, or Burst damage receives the Thunder Emblem bonus. Alley Hunter has a different off-field condition: its damage bonus builds while its wielder is off field and declines after more than four seconds on field. Amos' Bow instead directly boosts Normal and Charged Attack damage, with added damage based on arrow flight time.
Refinement and ascension
Refinement improves both ATK and the Normal Attack bonus. At Refinement 5 these reach 40% ATK and 24%/48%/80% Normal Attack DMG at one, two, or three stacks. Refining consumes another Thundering Pulse copy each step, so weigh those stack gains against keeping a separate copy available. Ascension is a separate progression track; the listed example stages require Mora and weapon materials.
Keep the conditions in view
A character at full Energy loses the Energy-based stack, even if the other stack sources remain available. Likewise, a rotation centered on Charged Attacks or off-field damage does not automatically benefit from the Normal Attack bonus. Aqua Simulacra offers a broader wielder damage bonus when opponents are nearby, including while its wielder is off field, so it may fit a different damage pattern.
Limitations and tradeoffs
The strongest special bonus is specific to Normal Attack damage.
The Energy stack is temporary and disappears at full Energy.
Refinement uses additional copies of a 5-star weapon.
Common mistakes to avoid
Counting the Energy stack while the wielder is at full Energy.
Assuming Thunder Emblem boosts Charged Attacks, Skills, or Bursts.
