Understand White Tassel
Useful when…
- A Normal Attack-focused polearm wielder
- A setup that values CRIT Rate from the weapon's secondary stat
Effect and attack mode
At R1, White Tassel increases Normal Attack damage by 24%, rising to 48% at R5. Its secondary stat is CRIT Rate. Keep the scope precise: the stated damage increase is for Normal Attacks, not all damage or Charged Attacks.
When another polearm fits better
The Catch is oriented toward Elemental Burst damage and Burst CRIT Rate. Ballad of the Fjords provides Elemental Mastery when the party has at least three different Elemental Types. Those conditions suit different damage sources and party setups; neither comparison alone establishes a universal replacement for a Normal Attack-focused wielder.
Improvement and limits
Ascension covers six stages. Refinement requires another copy and Mora, increasing the Normal Attack bonus. Refinement is most relevant when the wielder's damage actually comes from Normal Attacks; the weapon offers no listed bonus to other attack modes.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The damage passive is limited to Normal Attacks.
- It is a three-star weapon with lower base ATK than the supplied four-star polearm comparisons.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Applying its Normal Attack bonus to Charged Attacks, Skill damage, or Burst damage.
- Choosing it for a Burst-focused build solely because it is a polearm.
