Understand Feixiao
Useful when…
- Build Flying Aureus through allied attacks to access her Ultimate.
- Use Waraxe to deal damage and launch one extra Talent follow-up attack.
- Use Terrasplit to reduce a chosen enemy’s Toughness regardless of its Weakness Type.
- Use her Technique to pull in nearby enemies and deal guaranteed-CRIT Wind damage at the start of each wave.
Flying Aureus and follow-ups
Feixiao can activate her Ultimate at 6 Flying Aureus and store up to 12. She gains 1 point for every 2 attacks by allied targets; her Ultimate attacks do not count. Thunderhunt triggers a follow-up after a teammate attacks an enemy, targeting the primary enemy or a random enemy if no primary target is available. It can trigger once per turn, resetting at the start of Feixiao’s turn. When it triggers, it increases her damage dealt for 2 turns. Waraxe directly launches one extra Talent follow-up against its target when Feixiao uses her Skill.
Ultimate and target conditions
Terrasplit attacks one designated enemy up to six times with Boltsunder Blitz or Waraxe Skyward, followed by a final Wind hit. During the Ultimate, Feixiao can reduce Toughness while ignoring Weakness Type; her Weakness Break Efficiency increases if the target is not Weakness Broken. Boltsunder Blitz increases its damage multiplier against Weakness Broken targets, while Waraxe Skyward increases it against targets that are not Weakness Broken. The descriptions do not specify how these attacks are selected. Her Technique enters Onrush for 20 seconds, pulls in nearby enemies within range, and increases movement speed by 50%. On entering battle she gains 1 Flying Aureus. At each wave’s start, she deals guaranteed-CRIT Wind damage to all enemies; pulling in additional enemies increases that damage multiplier up to its stated cap.
Improvement priorities and investment
An editorial priority could focus on Waraxe if you use her Skill often, since it directly launches an extra Talent follow-up; Terrasplit is relevant if you value her repeated single-target Ultimate hits and weakness-independent Toughness reduction. Thunderhunt’s follow-up also increases Feixiao’s damage dealt for 2 turns when it triggers. The facts establish these effects but do not establish a level-up order among these abilities. Her listed trace bonuses include ATK, CRIT Rate, and DEF. Trace unlocks have prerequisites, while promotion is a separate progression track; the listed examples show higher costs for later levels and unlocks.
Limitations
Feixiao’s Ultimate charge depends on allied attacks; her own Ultimate strikes do not generate Flying Aureus. Thunderhunt’s follow-up is limited to once per turn. Terrasplit targets one enemy despite having multiple attack instances, and weakness-independent Toughness reduction does not itself mean the target is Weakness Broken. The Technique’s start-of-wave damage multiplier increases with additional enemies pulled in, up to a cap.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Ultimate charge depends on allied attacks.
- Thunderhunt’s follow-up can trigger only once per turn.
- Her Ultimate is focused on one target even though it can reduce Toughness regardless of Weakness Type.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Counting Feixiao’s Ultimate attacks toward Flying Aureus.
- Expecting Thunderhunt follow-ups more than once per turn.
- Treating weakness-independent Toughness reduction as an automatic Weakness Break.
- Assuming her Ultimate is an area attack because it has multiple hit instances.
- Combining the Broken-target and unbroken-target bonuses into one condition.
