Understand Gallagher
Useful when…
- Directly heal one ally with Special Brew.
- Heal allies when they attack Besotted enemies.
- Increase Break damage received by enemies affected by Besotted.
Besotted and attack-triggered healing
At the listed level-one values, Gallagher's Ultimate inflicts Besotted on all enemies for two turns, deals Fire damage, and enhances his next Basic ATK into Nectar Blitz. At level one, Besotted enemies receive 6% more Break damage, and an ally attacking a Besotted enemy is healed for 80 HP. His Technique applies Besotted to all enemies for two turns on entering combat and deals Fire damage to all enemies. These figures are level-one values, not fixed values at every trace level. Direct healing and Nectar Blitz
Special Brew restores 200 HP to one ally at the listed level-one value. The Talent's level-one healing is triggered when an ally attacks a Besotted target. Nectar Blitz, Gallagher's enhanced Basic ATK after his Ultimate, deals Fire damage and reduces the target's ATK for two turns at the listed level-one values. Trace investment and conditions
The listed trace tracks include Skill, Ultimate, Talent, Break Boost, Effect RES, and HP traces. Skill levels improve direct healing; Ultimate and Talent levels concern Besotted, its Break damage effect, and the attack-triggered healing. Talent healing requires an ally to attack a Besotted target. [hsr-1301:upgrades; hsr-1301:ability:1; hsr-1301:ability:2; hsr-1301:ability:3]
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Talent healing is tied to allies attacking Besotted targets.
- Besotted's listed damage vulnerability applies to Break damage.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating level-one values as unchanged at every trace level.
- Expecting Talent healing when the attacked enemy is not Besotted.
- Treating Besotted as a general damage increase rather than a Break damage increase.
