Understand Darting Arrow
Useful when…
- Gain a temporary ATK increase after the wearer defeats an enemy.
- Use when the wearer can trigger the defeat condition and benefit from the three-turn window.
What triggers the ATK bonus?
The wearer must defeat an enemy. That defeat increases ATK for three turns, with the bonus scaling from 24% at S1 to 48% at S5. Attacking without defeating an enemy does not meet the stated trigger.
How can you invest in it?
Promotion advances the Light Cone through stages 0–6. Superimposition runs from S1 to S5, with each listed step consuming one S1 Darting Arrow copy. Superimposition increases the ATK bonus; the effect still requires a defeat.
How do the listed Hunt effects differ?
Adversarial grants Speed for two turns after the wearer defeats an enemy, sharing Darting Arrow’s defeat trigger but changing the reward. Arrows instead increases CRIT Rate for three turns at battle start. Baptism of Pure Thought increases CRIT DMG, gains more against enemies for each debuff up to three stacks, and grants a two-turn effect after the wearer uses an Ultimate to attack an enemy. These have different triggers and benefits.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The ATK bonus requires the wearer to defeat an enemy.
- The effect lasts three turns and has no battle-start benefit.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting the ATK increase to trigger from attacking without defeating an enemy.
- Confusing its defeat-triggered ATK increase with Adversarial’s defeat-triggered Speed increase.
