Understand Echoes of the Coffin
Useful when…
- An Abundance wearer who can hit several different enemies with one attack.
- A team that can use a one-turn SPD increase after the wearer uses Ultimate.
How does the Energy return work?
At S1, each attack restores 3 Energy for each different enemy target the wearer hits, up to three times per attack. Hitting the same target multiple times does not count as multiple different enemies. The wearer also gains 24% ATK, and using Ultimate increases all allies' SPD by 12% for 1 turn. At S5, ATK reaches 40%, Energy per different target is 5, and the team SPD bonus is 20%; the per-attack trigger cap remains three.
When does it suit an Abundance wearer?
The Energy effect favors attacks that cover multiple distinct enemies, while the team SPD effect requires Ultimate use and lasts only 1 turn. Cornucopia instead increases Outgoing Healing when the wearer uses Skill or Ultimate. Dream's Montage gives SPD and restores Energy after attacking Weakness Broken enemies, up to twice per turn. Fine Fruit immediately restores Energy to all allies at battle start. These candidates serve different healing, personal Energy, and team-opening needs.
How should you invest?
Promotion advances the Light Cone through six stages and improves base stats. Superimposition improves its ATK, Energy-per-target, and team SPD values; the shown refinement steps consume duplicate copies. Promotion is the straightforward base-stat investment, while refinement is more relevant if the wearer frequently hits multiple different targets and uses Ultimate.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Energy recovery depends on hitting different enemies and is capped at three targets per attack.
- The team SPD bonus requires Ultimate and lasts 1 turn.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not count repeated hits on one enemy as different targets for Energy recovery.
- Do not treat the team SPD increase as permanent; it lasts 1 turn after Ultimate.
